We had been planning to build a new home on our existing lot for years and met with numerous architects and contractors during that time, but no one felt like the right fit for us. We first met Marcone Rocha through the recommendation of a friend whose home he was building. She spoke so highly of him and offered for us to meet him at her home in the early stages of its progress. Marcone walked us through her framed building site, and we were immediately struck by the pride he took in his work and the attention to detail he had for every aspect of the process. We knew in that moment we had found the contractor who would be able to build us our dream home. Our process proved particularly challenging from the start since COVID hit one month after we knocked our old house down and the building department shut down for an indeterminant amount of time. Thanks to Marcone’s excellent organizational skills, preparation, and professionalism, he and his team at JSM Construction were ready to hit the ground running as soon as we were given the green light. He had preordered building materials which allowed us to move forward when other builders were stuck in limbo with supply chain issues and material shortages. His calm under pressure and pleasant demeanor set us at ease during a very stressful time, and we could not imagine having gone through this project with anyone else. Marcone is incredibly responsive and knowledgeable in his field and has helped us on numerous occasions even after our project was completed.
